Ole Vesterlund har i sit keramiske virke kredset om værker, hvor form, farve og udtryk har en dekorativ syntese i værkets tematik, og hvor forfinelse i udtryk er sat op i mod grove, balancerende og voluminøse former.

Født 1971. Uddannet fra Kunstakademiets Designskole i København og Glasgow School of Art.

Artist Statement
“Always attracted by the ambiguous and abstract, the mysterious space in between the individual and the object where the meeting becomes inspiration and story. A space for the surprised viewer to recognize ones own interpretation.
The special and the subtle as natural elements, annealed by aesthetic sensations.
My work is project-oriented and experimental. The projects are connected by my interest in the visually and emotionally expressions, happily joined into form and objects.
My focus is on objects of imprints, carriers of culture, identity and my work is often embedded by historical references. My aim is that the viewer in the meeting and mirrored by the object will reflect on own opinions and understanding.”
